CIPA Brigade Member Event Support Program

What is it, and why you want to participate.

The CIPA Brigade is an organized system of ensuring strong turnout at our fellow CIPA members' book store events.

Get on your horse, draw your saber and get ready to charge because we've created the CIPA Brigade Member Event Support Program just for you and your fellow members.

Our hope is that the program will help bring about the desired effect of proving to Colorado independent and chain book stores that CIPA members publish good books and produce successful events.

How does the program work you might ask?

When a CIPA member has a scheduled event at a book store they need to inform the CIPA webmaster and the CIPA Signature newsletter editor to have their event included in the new monthly "Rally Round the Flag" section.

When properly notified, CIPA will be able to support a member's event by sending out a CIPA Brigade "Charge!" email blast to our entire membership to let them know everything about the event. The blast will have "CIPA Brigade "Charge!" in the subject line and include the image of the cavalry charge to help alert our members to each upcoming event. The email blast will be sent out within 72 hours of an event to keep it fresh on the minds of our members. In addition, we will enlist a group of hardcore CIPA members to recruit attendees and lead the CIPA Brigade charge to provide a minimum of 10 CIPA members per event. These CIPA Brigade "Captains" will wear crossed sabers on their CIPA name badges to identify them.
