“The first time I attended a CIPA College, I didn’t even know what I needed to know. Since then, not only have I been able to apply this knowledge to achieve new goals, but I have met wonderful people in all facets of publishing that I now call friends and colleagues. I would love to have you included in that circle. Please review the exciting sessions that we have planned for you. Join us as we all Climb to the Top.”

A few days ago, I was catching up with a friend and I asked her if she was going to the College in March. “Nope,” she said, “I’ve already gone to one.” Already gone? How can that be? I’ve attended seven Colleges. Each year there is something new that yields many times the cost of registration. If I hadn’t attended last year, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to brainstorm with John Kremer and Rick Frishman at the same time. From that breakfast, the three of us are collaborating on a series of books together. Of course I’m going to attend this year. And so should you. Several of this year’s presenters have never been to CIPA. We are bringing them to you. Some include: Dan Janal, one of the original brains who designed the marketing for the launch of AOL; he’s brilliant in Internet marketing and has created an incredible contact list for every media type one would need (or want). Why wouldn’t you want to spend some time with him right here in Colorado? Alex Carroll has been on my radar screen for years. He’s marketing and PR/Media savvy into the wide-world of radio will enhance any type of media campaign you were thinking of initiating. Why wouldn’t you want to spend some time with him right here in Colorado? Brian Jud is welcomed back—his strategies outlined in his best-selling book, Beyond the Bookstore, have made mega thousands for many of CIPA’s members. Why wouldn’t you want to spend some time with him right here in Colorado? Tonya Evans-Wells best-selling books on legal publications are “must haves” for most publishers and authors. In her “tell it like it is” manner, you won’t want her to leave. Why wouldn’t you want to spend some time with her right here in Colorado? Peggy McColl is welcomed back to the College. It’s been five years since we last heard her when she managed to get from her home base in Canada to DIA in the midst of one of the worst snow storms we’ve experienced. That year, she showed attendees how she sold $48,000 in books in 48 hours and how they can too. Why wouldn’t you want to spend some time with her right here in Colorado? And there is so, so much more slated to the two-day College on March 28th and 29th. Then there’s the popular Newbie and Advanced Colleges the day before, March 27th.and our annual EVVY Book Award presentations on Friday, the 28th, emceed by Dom Testa (which is always a hoot and well worth the price of admission!). Why not register NOW to save money… and just maybe change the direction of where your publishing career is? Look forward to seeing you all in March. |
