The Colorado Center for the Book sponsors the annual Rocky Mountain Book Festival in March. It offers opportunities to peddle your wares, meet new people, and learn, and also perhaps to speak. For info call 303 839-8320.

Pikes Peak Writers Conference is held in the spring in Colorado Springs. The focus is on writing and finding a publisher. Pikes Peak Writers Conference.

The Mountains and Plains Booksellers Association is the association of bookstores in this region. They hold an annual conference in September It is a good chance to meet storeowners, as well as buyers from Ingram, Baker and Taylor, etc. Publishers can exhibit for a fee and sell to the storeowners directly, or join the association as a non-voting member and attend most events for free, hundreds of people attend this every year. Publishers Association of the West will hold an annual conference. It's an excellent resource for learning, not selling books. The attendees are publishers, the exhibitors are printers, distributors, etc. Call (303) 499-9540.

National Writers Association Foundation exists to enhance the future of writers by fostering continuing education through awarding scholarships and providing no or low cost workshops and seminars. A non-profit organization, we provide education and an ethical resource for writers at all levels of experience.
