Books Won’t Launch Without Great Editing
Some of the most common—not to mention glaring and potentially embarrassing—problems that books incur are in the areas of editing: the incorrect, incomplete, inconsistent or unclear. Images in a Digital World – Preparing Your Pictures for Print
Brent Sampson, President of Outskirts Press will expand your vocabulary. If you think RGB stands for “Really Gross Bathrooms” or CMYK means “Can My Yak Kiss” than you must attend this newbie session that discusses how image preparation is changing in the publishing world with the advent of computers and the Internet. 4-color process printing may still be the standard on the printed page, but technical specifications and different proofing procedures require a thorough understanding of digital imaging to keep from “being surprised” when the pictures hit the paper.
