The Colorado Independent Publishers Association’s Education and Literacy Foundation is pleased to announce the 2017 CIPA EVVY Awards Banquet with Keynote Speaker and Emcee, Mark McIntosh, at the Forney Museum of Transportation on Saturday, August 19th!

Get your tickets early as they sell out every year! Ticket sales close 8/12/17, 11am. Please note, ticket sales are non-refundable after 8/10/17.

Cost: $65 Early-bird pricing (ticket price will rise to $75 on 8/12/17) Tickets sold-out

Date: Saturday, August 19th, from 6-9 PM. (Doors open at 5:30pm – tour the museum if you’re early.)

Dinner will be served immediately at 6 PM.

Menu: Buffet style choice of grilled beef with roast beef and parmesan chicken, veggies, salad… and plenty of dessert. Gluten free options will be available.

Drinks: Complimentary beer and wine.

About our Keynote Speaker – Mark McIntosh:  This year, the keynote speaker and emcee for our 23rd Annual CIPA EVVY Awards Banquet and Ceremony will be Mark McIntosh. Mark is a long-time Denver media personality having served as an award-winning sportscaster and show host for CBS4 and KUSA. He continues to work in the media, is the author of multiple inspirational books and provides, through Victory Productions, encouragement and consultation for national and local companies in helping them reach and sustain peak performance. Victory’s consulting work includes helping non profits, faith-based organizations and educational entities raise money, awareness and morale. Recently, Mark was named Leukemia & Lymphoma’s Rocky Mountain Chapter’s “Man of the Year” for his efforts in raising money for blood cancer research. In 2014, Victory created the community outreach movement, A Stronger Cord, in an effort to unite communities with wellness. ASC utilizes exercise, relationship building and community service to encourage Americans to become more fit, connected and giving. The father of two grown children serves on the board of Rocky Mountain Human ServicesSLAM Academy/Colorado,  and Court Support Jeffco. In addition, the life-long athlete devotes many hours to a variety of community causes in the Denver area and beyond.

Mark will also have his book, Lemons Into Margaritas, available for sale after he speaks at the EVVY Awards banquet.
