“Persistence and Determination Alone are Omnipotent”
With summer upon us, we are all busy making plans, albeit ever-changing in the context of Covid-19. CIPA is no exception. On July 9th, our new and returning Board members will be meeting (virtually) at our Board Forward, envisioning the upcoming publishing season for 2020-2021. It promises to be a lively and productive brainstorming session, including ushering in the new CIPA president. I would like to take this opportunity to express the honor and privilege it has been to serve as your president for the past two years. Thank you for your trust in me and for your support! Although I have been among the more visible faces at meetings, I would like to acknowledge the efforts of the CIPA Board: Jim Ringel (secretary), Michael Molinet (programs), Peter Trimarco (membership), Caitlin Berve (marketing), Veronica Yager (website), Patty Maher, and Melanie Mulhall. In addition, gratitudes to non-board members Cheryl Callighan (administrator), Doris Baker (EVVYAwards chair), Sue Ager (EVVY Awards coordinator), Mike Daniels (CIPA ELF president), and Patricia Ross for providing meeting space for our monthly face-to-face meetings. Go team CIPA!
Summer Webinar Series
Please stay-tuned for CIPA’s Summer Webinar Series hosted by Caitlin Berve, providing continuing publishing education programs for our members near and far until we resume regular monthly meetings in September. (find out more here).

Welcome New CIPA Board Members
We are delighted to announce that Patty Maher will be returning to the CIPA Board as secretary, after a brief hiatus and Pam Feely assuming the role of treasurer, both to be confirmed at the Board Forward in July.
