dswmedalKathleen Zamboni McCormick to do a Book Reading at a Florida Conference  Kathleen Zamboni McCormick will be reading twice from her double CIPA EVVY Award winning book, Dodging Satan: My Sometimes Awesome, But Mostly Creepy Childhood (Gold in Religion & Spirituality; Silver in Humor) at the Florida Literary Arts Coalition 2016 Other Words Conference. This year’s conference theme is ‘The Literary Art of Writing Funny.’ The readings will occur on November 4 and 5, 2016 at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.


Christina Dalpiaz Invited to Austria to be Keynote Speaker at Congress of Prevention  Christina bfso2_front_cover_final_wcipaDalpiaz, a three-time CIPA EVVY award winner, has been invited to the 5th Austrian Congress of Prevention as an author and keynote speaker on her latest edition of Breaking Free, Starting Over: Parenting in the Aftermath of Family Violence. The Congress will be held in Graz, Austria on November 8, 2016 with an audience of 400 professionals. She will provide valuable insight based on the research in her book to assist advocates with moving families from recovery to discovery. The book illustrates in great detail how to protect future generations from violence by generating a healthy habits, happy homes approach. A book signing will subsequently follow Christina’s presentation.
